The Velletri Jazz Days festival, under the artistic direction of Francesco Bruno, features three days of great music and more, held in the splendid Aurora Theater in Velletri (Piazza S. Clemente 6). For the occasion, the theater will become a multimedia art village, where concerts by major national and international jazz artists will be joined by other art forms such as poetry, painting, and exploration of the value of nature in its many forms. The festival draws on the innovative format that the Hangar Association has sought to introduce for its local festivals, a format that has enjoyed great success with audiences over the years.

The Velletri Jazz Days festival, sponsored by the Municipality of Velletri, will integrate its content naturally, respecting the setting and the architecture of Piazza S. Clemente, home to the Aurora Theater, which will host the events. The artistic offerings will safeguard and enhance the beauty of the surrounding landscape and the valuable urban landscape.

The festival kicks off on Friday, December 6th (8:30 pm) with a painting exhibition and installations in homage to the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, curated by Leonardo Leonardi and Silvana Maltese, featuring a living exhibition by Patrizia Mezzogori. This will be followed by Contemporary Poetry with IAGO (Roberto Sannino), a Tribute to Frida Kahlo by the Il Borgo Theater Company, with a reading by Anna Siraco; and a Guide to Understanding Bach Flower Remedies, curated by Valeria Ballarati. These exhibitions and meetings will form the common thread running through the entire festival. Central to the program are the monologues dedicated to Jazz Lives, featuring Ezio Braccioforte on December 7th with Thank You, Professor Ferdinand Jelly Roll Morton; and Francesca De Francesco on December 8th with a monologue on The Accordion.

The day on December 6th concludes at 9:00 PM with a concert by the Francesco Bruno Trio, who will repeat their Zàkynthos project. On Saturday, December 7th, the musical moment, also scheduled for 9:00 PM, will be performed by the duo Javier Girotto & Vince Abbracciante. The Festival will conclude on Sunday, December 8th (6:30 PM) with a concert entitled Alle Radici del Jazz by the Vibration Gospel Choir.
